The 2000P series test tables consist of two standard models, 2002P (2-axis) and 2003P (3-axis), with various options. Each test table may be easily customized to meet specific requirements.
These Precision Multi-axis Positioning and Rate Table Systems are designed to provide precise position, rate and acceleration motion for the development and/or production testing of navigation sensor systems such as Fiber Optic Gyros (FOG), Ring Laser Gyros (RLG), Inertial Navigation Systems (INS) and accelerometers.
The 2002P, and 2003P are two and three-axis test tables, respectively. These tables are servo controlled and feature direct-drive DC brush-type motors, precision optical encoders and a microprocessor based controller that provides accurate and reliable motion control. The table can be operated from the front panel keypad for local control or through a computer interface for remote control. This test table system is designed for ease of operation and is programmed with the Ideal Aerosmith Table Language (ATL) for remote operation.
The remote computer interface standard is IEEE-488, RS-232 is offered as an option. Available commands include control of position, rate, acceleration, and controller parameters.
The Series 2000P systems may be configured for limited rotation or with sliprings for unlimited axis rotation based on specific customer requirements. For limited rotation applications these tables have wire wrap allowance that provides an economical alternative to using slip rings. Wire wrap test tables are designed for high reliability, minimal electrical noise, and low maintenance. All of these test tables use high precision ball bearings, which are preloaded to optimize axis wobble and minimize axis friction. Each test table has a hard, anodized aluminum table platform for mounting the units under test (UUT).
