ARINC 429 to USB Converter module

MJ Engineering’s ARINC 429 to USB Converter module (Part number CP7006) provides data conversion from the Aerospace ARINC 429 data bus to the Universal Serial Bus (USB).

The CP7006 is simplicity itself, from its compact and light weight enclosure to its intelligent and self configuring PC application.

The CP7006 through its use of USB can be hot plugged from PC to PC Desktop or laptop, without the inconvenience of dismantling the PC to fit a PCI card, or the expense or fragile connections of a PCMCIA card.

This module is ready to use straight out of the box, with a USB interface cable, ARINC 429 interface mating connector, and software application supplied as standard.

Our bespoke software application automatically detects the data which is present on your ARINC 429 bus, and in seconds will have displayed the labels you require in engineering units in either tabular or graphical flight instrument display format.

The CP7006 has one receive and one transmit channel as standard but can be supplied with up to two receive and transmit channels.

ARINC interface is via a female 15 way D type connector, with USB connectivity via a standard USB female socket.

Standard data rates (12.5 or 100 KHz) or a user defined data rate can be selected via software for each channel independently.

Up to 256 Arinc words can be transmitted per channel, in a user defined sequence, with no limit on the number of words which can be received.

The received data can be displayed in either a Tabular or Graphical format.
